First post-New member I undergo recently inherited a 90 GT from my create who passed away earlier this year. He was an avid Mustang guy and this car was set up for auto cross and high speed touring at a local road bring in. It was last driven in November 2006. I put the battery on the charger and tried to go away it a a few months ago but no luck. I knew he had solenoid problems so I bypassed it and it started! I replaced the solenoid but comfort no start? Now when I try to bypass it I get nothing sparks but no crank. I undergo used jumper cables thinking the battery was too weak but still no luck. My thoughts: battery starter locked up clutch starter communicate change by reversal (clutch cable replaced last year). Your thoughts?? Thanks Hiya and accept. Glad you joined us. Could be any of those considering how desire it's been since it's been run. You can have the starter and battery checked. You can also replace the starter communicate switch they don't cost much and wouldn't be a bad idea to replace anyway. Do that and see if it improves. Does the car still undergo the factory ignition switch? Whatever it's using when you're trying to crank it the red equip with the push-on connector on the solenoid should be hot with 12V+. If it's had a later mini-starter retrofitted you might need to wire it as those also undergo an additional solenoid mounted on them with the cable to the starter motor always being hot. Try to acquire a known-good battery to bushel this problem. 1992 Deep Emerald Green Mustang GT Hatch. 5 speed. 2.73s. Mac fenderwell cold air intake. '93 Cobra MAF. Mac 70mm throttle body & spacer. Performance Friction halt pads. Granatelli upper control arms. Waiting to go on: Granatelli lower control arms and GT40 Iron heads! OK good news/bad news. I put in a new battery and starter relay. Still no crank. I can now move across the communicate and it started right up. Drove around the neighborhood but still will not start w/out jumping across the relay???? Any ideas now? Thanks

I undergo a 4x4 5.0 V8 XLT Explorer in which I am having a starting problem sort of speaking. Car has bunco of 68K and about a month ago. I had the bottom radiator irrigate crack. When it change luckily I was not driving it. But my wife had started up and was waiting on me to come out. She said the air never came on so she cut it off. When I came out to start it my steering wheel was stiff and my battery was draining look under the car and saw the coolant on the ground and when I opened up the hood the coolant was spewing all over my engine and builts particular to the alternator way the change was situated. Well I got the hoses replaced and everything was book for about a week. I don't drive this car that much. So it probably sat another week after that. When I went to start it again there was a delay in starting it and a clicking go when I turned the key in the ignition. Waited awhile and tried it again and it tried to drag but then started up. None of my lights are dimming everything is working book but I have trouble getting it to initially start and it is sporadic. No check engine battery or voltage lights are on. If it does stall and I attempt to move it it starts alter up. I can't figure out what it is. Battery. Alternator. Starter. Spark plugs etc. It is driving me crazy. THere is no like Pep Boys or anything here to get it tested. And I don't wanna spend a whole lot of money on trying to diagnois the problem. Help please!What do you guys evaluate about purchasing one of those auto reader/scanners and trying to diagnois the problem that way? Any suggestions are appreciated.
