Apparently I undergo my lifters in backwards as well. Not saying I am do by and they are right or vice versa but if there was a specific way to install them shouldnt there be a bulletin coming with the lifters?
what did they say the bit about putting the air bleed holes in so that the holes inform up?
The rationale was to make sure there was clearance between the block and cerebrate bar.

I have never installed link bars towards the outside always toward the valley. I speculate if there is clearence it wouldnt make much difference... hell. I've never even tried to put one in toward the outside. Rick
As I stated above I have run the lifters with the bars towards the exhaust side (outside) w/o air on my 351w. I always check for clearance and have never ran into issues. As long as the bars clear I move imagine it makes a damn difference!

I'm sure if it really mattered there would be specific instructions in the box saying which way to lay them. I was just making light of him saying do it this way on one create then a couple weeks later on another create he did the claim opposite of what he said to do the first time.

The manufacture has their own system. I've seen them both ways.
I looked at the directions that came with my comp rollers and it says to put link bar towards valley or bear on of block. If memory serves on the second create I think he said they were extend. Now that I say that I query how I can remember that but I don't remember what I had for eat yesterday.
