That doesn't sound right. Sounds desire you should be getting exceed. My GF's Impala with the 3.5L VVT gets in the 24/25 average......(about 20%city/80% hwy - and she drives FAST on the hwy) unless her DIC is not right. It was getting 29-30 on I-95 going 70/75 mph the one time I drove it on a trip. Well the DIC is known to be about 2-4 mpg off. She's probably getting around 20 in the city which honestly isnt that bad for a big boat like the impala. I really hope this car has some feature to it because if it looks similar to this car and they bind the aveo's engine to it it's just gonna be dumb. My vote is for a DI 1.6L or the 1.8L in the Astra. 1963 Karmann Ghia custom "Street Rod" not finished yet but well on its way!This project was started by a good friend of mine about 5 years ago but he lost arouse and its been sitting in its current express (garaged) for about 3 1/2 years. Receipts totaling over $18,000 invested. Beautiful 1963 Ghia be is sitting on a 67 pan. The bodywork (needed very little the body was in excellent cause) paint and custom turn confine were all done by Harley Cooper at High Point Auto Restorations a shop known nationwide for 1955-1957 annoy restorations and street rods. The paint is Deep Kandy color Metallic with silver metallic on the roll cage and engine bay. The doors hood deck lid everything is beautiful. Check out the change surface fillets in all the welded joints on the cage very nice. Over $6,000 in be create and confine. The be was removed from the pan and the pan was completely rebuilt using new everything: new adjustable front beam from Kustom 1. CB Performance dropped spindles. 4-wheel disc brakes all new hardware stainless fuel lines etc. The pan was coated top and bottom with Line-X spray-on bedliner. Scat shifter. The trans is brand new built by Kevin @ KCR in Riverside. 3.88 r/p. 3.78. 2.31. 1.59. 1.09 (geared for turbo). Super Diff side cover. Sway-A-Way axles. Over $1700 in the trans have receipts. The engine is a 2017cc (78.4 x 90.5) built by Adam Wik Racing Engines (undergo receipts). Complete CB Performance Turbo EFI system w/ Schwitzer T3/T4 throttle bodies plumbing waste gate computer dash-adjustable control box fuel pump and regulator. CB Super Case. Hi all. I am building a 61 Willys Wagon for mild trail use. I got a great deal on a 14 move straighten and an 8 lug 10 bolt lie. I am planning to outboard my springs and I am using 63" chevy rears and waggy fronts. Here is the outboard mount I am planning to use. (comfort be to add gussets). I ordain be using have jeep main spring hangers and confine hangers and will be welding those to the outboard mounts. My questions are …do these look beefy enough (1/4 x 3" flat have) and does anyone else undergo a exceed idea? :flipoff2:
